There are other groups around as well!
Capstone Innovation Project is a learning environment produced by Turku University of Applied Sciences. Capstone draws together several study programmes from different branches. The purpose of Capstone is to combine working life and studies in a more realistic and practical way that brings benefits both to the students and the customer companies (http://capstone.dc.turkuamk.fi/?lang=en).
This year we are around 350 students around business, technology and much more. Project groups we have 37 with a big variation of fields - from food industry and product development to optimization and IT.
We have our project of course as the leading interest, but it is interesting to follow other groups as well. Our tutor teacher has two other groups as well. And here is our thoughts about their blogs and most interesting findings.
Group MyFlavoria
Group's task is to great a launch campaign for MyFlavoria app. The app is about health and nutrition. MyFlavoria is a lunch restaurant owned by other company. If understood correctly the idea is to launch the app to get people weight their meals and learn about the nutrition values.

Findings from the blog
The group had done some research about already existing health and nutrition related apps like Bite, DietSensor, My FitnessPal and Yuka. It was interesting to learn about these apps, not many of us had heard of these before. Also it's a good thing to little market research to know what's going on in the field of business, even though this MyFlavoria app isn't a straight competitor to these, since it's connected with the specific restaurant.

They had also looked a little into launching an app. They used the example of Spotify. In the beginning Spotify was availabe only via invitation link, so it gained a reputation and a name with this "secrecy". Maybe not a functional way for this MyFlavoria app launch, but interesting to find out. And always can remember that one can think outside the box and innovate something different.

After reading though everyone’s introductions I was pleasantly
surprised that almost all mentioned that they are interested in sustainable
businesses. It's good to know that peopke working on the project have a keen interest in the values that it represents. Its also good that the introductions are mostly following the same structure
so reading through them is easier.
I would however update the visuals of the
blog since it quite barebones as seen on the picture. The quality of the posts also varies, for example there’s a image that has fallen on its
side.
Overall the blog is simple, but clean and the information
nicely packaged using easily readable images
